Quares facilitates Thomas Cook

Mechelen, 3 April 2017 – The Property & Facility Management division of Quares is expanding its customer portfolio with a great contract. Thomas Cook Group Belgium has appointed Quares as property & facility manager for its head office and retail network.

Thomas Cook Group Belgium would like to focus more on its core activities in the future. The tour operator therefore recently decided to outsource the management of its head office in Ghent.

In June/July 2016, Quares carried out an in-depth examination of Thomas Cook's facilities organisation. Quares provided several proposals for integrated property & facility management.

The building in Ghent, which covers 9,700m2 is undergoing development from a single-tenant to a multi-tenant building. In order to ensure the transition runs smoothly and commercial aspects are managed as efficiently as possible, Thomas Cook Group Belgium will employ the services of the Quares property and facility management team.

In addition to the contract for the head office, the division will also take on responsibility for the facilities management for all 92 of Thomas Cook Group Belgium's retail points.
